Delta Agro Processing And Marketingprivate Limited operates from Jamuna Villa on Sodepur Road. It’s where Sabita Das lives, or Sabita Das (Biswas) as some people know her. Part of the house is used for our work here. The P.O. Mdg area stays busy, but our spot is tucked away a bit from the main noise of the road. We deal with agro processing and marketing mostly. Daily work involves a lot of manual tasks and checking on things. We aren't a big factory or anything like that. Just a small group working out of a residential spot in the villa. The road gets really crowded in the evenings with all the people coming home. Finishing our marketing tasks before the traffic gets too bad is the goal. People come by Jamuna Villa to talk business with Sabita. Running things this way is practical for us. We’ve got some equipment set up for the processing part of the agro business. It’s noisy sometimes but the neighbors around here are used to us and don't complain. We focus on getting the produce sorted and ready for the market. Marketing takes a lot of time on the phone. Sabita handles a lot of the paperwork and keeps us organized. No big signs are needed. It’s been this way for a bit now. We like being on Sodepur Road because it’s easy for transport trucks. Keeping our heads down and doing the job is what we do. It’s a local business.
