Royal India Exports is located right in Deputy Ganj, which is always a crowded spot. Being near the Shiv Mandir means we hear the bells every morning and evening. It’s a nice rhythm to work to, even when things are frantic. We deal with a lot of packing and shipping of various goods. The streets here are narrow, so getting the big crates out can be a real challenge sometimes. You have to time it right or the traffic just stops everything. The office is small and usually piled high with samples and shipping documents. We don't really have a big team, just a handful of us who know the routine. Most of our day is spent on the phone or checking the quality of the items before they go into the boxes. It gets very dusty in Deputy Ganj with all the carts and people moving around. We’ve been in this area for years, so the temple regulars know us by name. We don't bother with fancy decor or expensive furniture. The desks are old and the fans creak, but they keep the air moving. It’s a practical place for practical work. We just focus on getting the exports ready and making sure the labels are stuck on straight. That’s about all there is to it. We keep our heads down and try to get the orders moving so the customers get their stuff.
