Sri Balaji Satynarayana Sweets

Our sweet shop, Sri Balaji Satynarayana Sweets, is located at H No: 2-3-692/K/3/3 in Durga Nagar. We are right near the Ali Cafe X Roads in Amberpet, which is a very busy spot in Hyderabad. It’s a lively neighborhood with a lot of people walking by at all hours. We’ve been making and selling sweets here for a long time now. Every morning starts very early for us with the smell of milk boiling and sugar syrup being prepared in the back. We have these big metal vats where everything is cooked over a high flame. Our display cases are filled with fresh laddoos, halwa, and various milk sweets that we make daily. We don't use any fancy packaging or have a designer interior with bright lights. It’s just a traditional shop with glass counters and a few stools for people to sit on if they want to eat their snacks right there. The Ali Cafe junction is always loud with traffic and horns, but inside the shop, we just focus on serving the customers who come in. During festivals like Diwali, it gets absolutely chaotic. We have to call in extra help and stay up late to finish all the box orders. The floor can get a bit sticky by the end of the day, so we have to scrub it down every single night. My family has always been involved in this business. We know most of the people who come in by their first names. It’s a local business through and through. We just try to make things that taste good. There is no secret recipe, just the way we've always done it.
