Awasthi Sweets & Namkeen

We are Awasthi Sweets & Namkeen, located right across from the Minerva Complex in Secunderabad. Our shop has been at 1-2-269 for a long time. It’s a place where we make snacks and traditional sweets every single day. We don’t have a big corporate office or a marketing team. It’s just us behind the counter. The street outside stays busy with people heading to the complex or catching buses. We have glass cases filled with whatever we made fresh that morning. Sometimes the shop gets a bit crowded and you might have to wait a minute, but that’s how it goes in this part of town. We use the same recipes that have been around for ages. There isn’t anything fancy about the way we package things; we just put them in bags or boxes and hand them over. People in Secunderabad know us as a neighborhood spot. We don't try to be anything we aren't. It’s just a shop with sweets on one side and salty snacks on the other. We wake up early to get the frying started and we close up once the shelves are mostly empty. It’s hard work, but we like seeing the same faces every day.
