Our biscuit factory is located in Saidabad, specifically at 16-2-851/A in the Saudabad area. If you live around here, you can sometimes smell the baking when the wind is blowing the right way. It’s a big operation with ovens running most of the day and night. We make all kinds of biscuits that end up in tea shops and grocery stores. It’s a noisy place with the packing machines clicking away and the smell of fresh flour in the air. We have a lot of people from the local neighborhood working the production lines. It is a tough job being near the heat all day, but we have a good group of people here at Veeraman Biscuit Industries Ltd. The building is a bit older, and we’ve added bits to it over the years as we needed more space. We don't have a fancy showroom for visitors. Most of our space is taken up by the big sacks of ingredients and the boxes waiting to be shipped out to vendors. We spend our days making sure the batches come out just right. Sometimes a machine breaks down and everyone has to scramble to fix it so we don't lose a whole load of dough. That’s just the way it goes in the biscuit business. We have been here in Saidabad for a long time and we’re part of the local scene. It’s just honest factory work making something people like to eat with their daily tea.
