Dadus Mithai Vatika

Dadus Mithai Vatika is in Ratan Mahal, right on Liberty Road in Himayat Nagar. We are situated across from the TTD Kalyana Mandapam, which is a big local landmark. Because of the wedding hall nearby, we see a lot of people coming in for sweets and snacks. Himayat Nagar is a very busy part of town and there is always traffic on the road. Inside the shop, we have glass counters filled with all the different things we make. The staff stays busy filling boxes and weighing out orders. We don't have any big corporate goals. We just focus on making the sweets and serving whoever walks in. The air usually smells like sugar and ghee. We've been at this location for a while now. The building, Ratan Mahal, is easy to spot once you get onto Liberty Road. We have a lot of regulars who have been coming to us for years. Sometimes it gets so crowded that people have to wait on the sidewalk. We try to move as fast as we can, especially during festival seasons when things get really crazy. It's a lot of manual work, standing on our feet and dealing with the trays. We don't use any fancy language to describe ourselves. We are just a local sweet shop doing our daily business in the 500029 area. It’s a busy life but we are used to the noise and the crowds by now.
