P. D. Metal Industries

We’ve been set up near Hanuman Gate in Jagadhri for a while now. Metal work is what we do here every day. It’s a busy spot and we just try to get the jobs done right. My father started this and now I’m running it with a few guys from the neighborhood. It gets loud with all the machinery running but that’s just how it is in this line of work. We handle different kinds of metal pieces based on what people need. People usually just drop by the shop if they have a question or need something made. The floor is usually covered in scrap and dust, but we know where everything is. It isn’t a fancy office, just a workspace where we put in the hours. Sometimes things get delayed when the power goes out or a machine breaks down, but we always manage to fix it and keep going. We don’t spend much time on the computer or making things look pretty on paper. Most of our day is spent actually handling the materials. If you’re around Jagadhri, you’ve probably passed by our gate. We just keep our heads down and focus on the orders we have. It’s hard work but it pays the bills. That’s pretty much the story of P. D. Metal Industries. We’re just a local shop doing what we know how to do. We don't have a big team, just enough of us to keep the machines humming. Sometimes the heat in the summer makes the work even tougher, but we drink plenty of water and keep moving. We are just regular people making metal parts for anyone who asks us to.
