L P Metal Industries

Court Road is where you’ll find us. L P Metal Industries is basically a big workshop where there’s always something being cut or welded. It’s loud and dusty, and that’s just the way a metal shop is. We don’t have a fancy lobby. You walk in and you’re pretty much right there in the middle of the work. There’s the smell of grease and burnt metal in the air most days. We have a small desk in the corner where we keep the ledger and the phone, but nobody sits there for very long. Most of the time we’re on our feet. The neighbors on Court Road know us by the noise, I suppose. It’s an old building, nothing special to look at, but it stays cool enough in the shade. We’ve got stacks of raw material near the entrance and finished bits waiting to be picked up near the back. Our hands are usually stained with something or other. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone like that. It’s just a few guys who know how to work with metal. We take our tea breaks outside on the step when the sun isn't too harsh. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until evening. We’ve been on this road for a long time now.
