Jagannath Metal Industries

If you head down Gobind Puri Road, you’ll eventually run into us. Jagannath Metal Industries is situated right there, amidst the other workshops and small factories. It’s a loud neighborhood. You can usually hear the sound of metal being moved or machines running from the street. Our shop isn't anything special to look at from the outside. It’s got a heavy door and concrete floors that have seen better days. We work with metal all day, so our hands are usually a bit dirty and there’s a constant smell of iron in the air. We don’t have an HR department or a marketing team. It’s just a handful of us who know how to handle the materials. Some of the guys have been here since the beginning and they can tell you exactly where everything is, even if it looks like a mess to someone else. We deal with a lot of local orders. People come in with sketches or just an idea of what they need, and we see if we can make it work. The winters are cold in the shop and the summers are pretty hot, but we’re used to it. We don’t have a website that we update or anything like that. We just focus on the orders we have on the bench. Gobind Puri Road is where we spend our lives, and we’re okay with that as long as we keep busy.
