T.C. Jain Metal Ind (P) Ltd.

T.C. Jain Metal Ind (P) Ltd. is located right on Yamuna Nagar Road. If you walk by, you’ll probably hear the machines running. It’s a bit of a dusty area with all the construction and traffic, but we’ve been here long enough that we don’t really notice it anymore. We work with metal every day. It’s heavy work and the shop floor gets pretty hot, especially in the summer months. We started this place because there was a need for these parts around here. Most of our guys have been with us for a long time. They know how the machines sound when they’re running right. We don’t spend much time on the office side of things unless we have to. Most of the real work happens in the back where the cutting and shaping is done. Sometimes the orders come in all at once and we have to stay late to finish everything. Yamuna Nagar Road is a busy stretch, so getting deliveries in and out takes some planning. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make sure the metal we send out is what the customer asked for. It’s simple enough, really. We keep a lot of stock piled up in the corner so we don't run out when someone calls. The floor is usually covered in scrap and shavings by noon. We sweep it up and start again the next day. It’s just how things are here.
