Classic Steels

Main Road in Jagadhri is always buzzing, especially near the Devi Bhawan Mandir. Our shop, Classic Steels, is right there in the middle of the bazar. It’s a loud place with all the metal being moved around. You can hear the clanging of steel from the street. We’ve been in this part of Taluka Jagadhri for years. It’s a practical business. We sell steel to builders, local guys making gates, and whoever else needs it. Some days the dust from the road gets everywhere, so we’re always wiping things down. The Mandir is a good landmark for people trying to find us. Usually, someone is outside helping load a truck or checking the inventory. We don't have a big fancy showroom. It's more of a working yard and a small counter. We know most of the people who come in by their first names. It’s that kind of town. If the weather is bad, things slow down, but otherwise, it’s a constant stream of work. We handle the heavy lifting ourselves most of the time. My hands are usually a bit dirty by lunch. We aren't trying to be anything we're not. We just sell steel and try to be fair about it. It’s a living, and it keeps us busy from morning until we close the shutters at night. Sometimes the neighbors bring over some snacks when things are slow. It keeps us going.
