Chowdhury Tour & Travels is situated on the ground floor in MG Bazar, Agartala. Being in MG Bazar means we are right in the heart of the shopping district. It is a very old and well-known part of the city. Our office is easy to get to since you don't have to climb any stairs. It is just a plain room where we do our daily business. We have a few desks and some old wooden chairs. The walls have some maps of the state and some notes scribbled here and there. We spend a lot of our day on the phone or talking to people who drop in while they are doing their marketing. It is a bit of a dusty place sometimes, but it is comfortable for us. We aren't a big agency with lots of branches. We just have this one spot in the bazaar. We deal with car rentals and travel plans for local people and visitors. It is a lot of routine work, checking dates and talking to transporters. We don't use any flashy advertisements. People in the bazaar know we are here. Sometimes the neighbors from the other shops come in for a chat. It is a friendly atmosphere. We just do our best to stay organized and get the work done. Agartala is a small place in some ways, and word of mouth is how most people hear about us.
