Travel Asia

We are up on the first floor of Bipani Betan, in Shop No 111. It’s on Ramthakur Road, very close to the M G Bazaar in Agartala. Being near the bazaar means it’s always busy around here, but once you climb the stairs to our shop, it gets a little quieter. Travel Asia is just the name on the door. Inside, it’s mostly just us sitting at our desks surrounded by piles of paper and some old travel posters. We’ve been here for years, helping folks get their tickets and figure out where they’re going. It’s not a fancy office with air conditioning that always works, but we have a good fan and plenty of water for anyone who stops by. We don’t do any big marketing stuff. We just focus on getting the job done for the people who walk in. Sometimes the stairs are a bit steep if you’re carrying heavy bags, but most people don't mind the climb. We know most of the regulars by name now. It’s nice to see a familiar face and hear about their last trip. We don't use those scripted lines you hear from big corporations. We just speak plain English and tell it like it is. If a flight is likely to be delayed, we’ll let you know. That’s just how we do things here at Bipani Betan.
