Our place is in A-4, Mayapuri Industrial Area, Phase-1. If you know Mayapuri, you know it’s a place where things get built and scrapped. We’ve been in this spot for a long time. We deal with machinery, mostly stuff related to wood. It’s a busy industrial zone, so there are trucks coming and going all the time. The air always smells a bit like oil and metal. Our shed is usually full of equipment. Some of it is new, some of it is being worked on. We don't have any air conditioning or fancy rugs; it is a workshop through and through. The floor is concrete and usually has some scuff marks from moving heavy gear around. We spend most of our time out on the floor, not sitting behind desks. If someone calls, we might not hear the phone right away over the noise. People come to us when they need reliable machines for their own woodworking shops. We know these machines inside and out because we spend all day with them. It’s a tough environment but we like it. We have a small crew and we all know our jobs. There’s no corporate talk here, just talk about gears, motors, and blades. We keep things moving and try to help out the regulars who’ve been coming to us for years. It is a noisy, messy place, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. We just keep the wheels turning.
