Weavers

Our workspace is over at B-16 and 17 in the DSIDC Industrial Complex on Rohtak Road, Nangloi. It’s a pretty large area, and we’ve got two units joined together to fit all our equipment. Weavers is exactly what the name suggests—we spend our time dealing with looms and yarn. The whole building hums when the machines are running, and you can feel the vibration in the floor. It’s not the kind of place where you’d want to wear a nice suit because of the lint and the grease. We’ve been in this industrial complex for a long time, and we’ve seen plenty of other businesses come and go. It’s a rough and ready sort of place. Our team is made up of people who have been doing this for decades, alongside a few younger ones learning the ropes. We don't have any fancy meeting rooms; we usually just talk over the noise of the machinery or out in the loading bay. The work is repetitive and tiring, but there’s a certain satisfaction in seeing the raw threads turn into finished pieces of cloth. We don't spend money on advertising or shiny brochures. Most of our business comes from long-standing relationships with people who know the quality of what we produce. It’s a simple, hardworking life here in Nangloi, and we’re okay with that. It keeps the lights on and our families fed.
