Universal Fabricators

Universal Fabricators is located over in Chanakya Place, Part-I. The exact address is E-2/60A, and we are on Gali No. 9. If you are coming from the Janak Puri side, we are pretty much opposite C-1. Finding our place for the first time can be a little tricky because of how the lanes are laid out, but once you find Gali 9, we are right there. Our shop is where we do all our welding and metal fabrication. It’s a narrow space, so we have to be careful with how we move the long metal pipes and sheets around. There’s almost always a shower of sparks coming from a grinder somewhere in the back. We don't have any air conditioning, so the big doors stay open all day, which lets in the noise from the street. We’ve been a part of this Janak Puri neighborhood for a long time. People around here know the sound of our hammers. It’s not a corporate office with suits; it’s a place where we wear old clothes that we don't mind getting dirty. We don't have a set mission statement or anything like that. We just take the orders that come in, whether it’s a simple gate repair or something bigger, and we work on it until it’s finished. Most of our business comes from people walking by or neighbors telling their friends about us. It’s a simple, local operation and we like it that way.
