Gian Steel Roling Mills Pvt Lltd is located in C-Block, right near the Radha Krishna Mandir in West Patel Nagar, New Delhi. Having a temple so close by means there is always something happening around us, whether it is a festival or just the daily prayers. The bells and the music are a constant backdrop to our work day. Our office and the mill area are pretty industrial. It is not a clean or quiet place. There is the smell of metal and the sound of machinery almost all the time. We have a lot of workers coming in and out in their blue overalls. It is a busy, gritty environment. The office part is just a small section where we keep the books and handle the orders. It gets pretty hot inside, especially during the Delhi summers, so the fans are always running at full speed. We have been in West Patel Nagar for years and we know the other business owners on the block well. We often share a meal or a cold drink when things slow down in the evening. It is the kind of place where your hands get dirty and you actually see things being made. There is no corporate polish here, just hard work and a lot of steel. We like the energy of the area and the fact that we are right in the middle of everything.
