Sarfaraj Husain Fabrication is over at Shop No. 17/2360. We are easy to spot because we are right near Pillar No. 221. This is the Shadi Khampur area on Main Patel Nagar road. The metro pillar is the best way to find us. It’s very noisy because the metro runs right over us all day. We do all kinds of fabrication work here. There is always some welding going on or some iron being cut. The shop is small and it’s packed with materials. We have been at this spot for years. The Sherwani area is always full of people and traffic. We work right on the edge of the street sometimes. It’s a busy life. We don’t have fancy uniforms or a front desk. Most people just pull up and tell us what they need made. We might be making a frame one day and a small rack the next. It’s varied work. The smell of burning metal is something you get used to. We keep the tea stall nearby in business because we take many breaks. It’s hot work, especially in the summer months. We just try to do a decent job for the people in Patel Nagar. If you are walking past Pillar 221, you will hear us working. We are just local people doing what we know how to do. The iron and the sparks are our daily life.
