Jeetendra Metal

Our spot is Wz-1 in Shardapuri, which is over in New Delhi. It is one of those areas where the streets are a bit narrow and everything is packed together. We have been working with metal at this address for a long time. The workshop is full of sheets and rods and all sorts of bits and pieces. You have to be careful where you step because there is usually something on the floor. It is a bit loud when we are cutting things, but the neighbors are used to it by now. Shardapuri is a busy neighborhood and there is always someone passing by the door. We have a small desk tucked in the corner where we keep the ledger and the phone. It gets pretty hot in there during the Delhi summers, so we have a couple of heavy-duty fans blowing all the time. The walls are covered in calendars from previous years that we never took down. We don't have a website or anything; people just know where we are at Wz-1. It is a simple operation. We take the metal, we cut it or shape it, and that is about it. The air always has a bit of a metallic tang to it. We open up early in the morning before the sun gets too high. It is just a local Delhi shop where we spend our days working with our hands.
