Thomson Overseas

Our office is tucked away at Srs-487/108 in Peera Garhi, right near the Ram Leela Park. If there’s an event at the park, it gets incredibly loud and crowded, but we just work through the noise. Thomson Overseas is basically a place where we handle a lot of paperwork and logistics. It’s not very glamorous at all. There are desks piled with documents and phones that never seem to stop ringing. We spend a lot of time talking to people in different time zones, so someone is usually here late at night or very early in the morning. We don't have a fancy lobby with a receptionist. You just walk in and you'll see us busy at our computers. We deal with moving goods across borders, which sounds exciting but it’s mostly just making sure the numbers match up and the boxes are where they should be. Sometimes things get delayed at the ports and we have to deal with frustrated people, which isn't fun, but we do our best to sort it out. We are a small crew, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything, from filing papers to heavy lifting when a delivery comes. It’s a bit chaotic at times, but we’ve found a rhythm that works for us. We just keep moving forward, one shipment at a time, without trying to be anything fancy.
