Tata Steelltd

We are tucked away in Rohini Sector 6, specifically at B-2, 354, here in New Delhi. It’s a residential area that has slowly filled up with small offices and businesses over the years. Being a part of Tata Steelltd in a place like Delhi is a bit different from being at the big plants. We are in a brick building that looks like every other house on the block. The 110008 pin code area is usually pretty crowded with cars parked everywhere and people walking to the local shops. Our office is on one of the floors, and it’s quite small. We have just enough room for the computers and the people who run them. It gets a bit noisy with the Delhi traffic outside, but we don't mind it much anymore. We don't have a big sign out front, just a small plate near the door so people know they’ve reached the right spot. The work we do here is mostly about coordination and talking to people over the phone. It’s a very urban setup, and we don't have any of that corporate "big company" feel inside these walls. We drink a lot of chai and try to stay cool during the Delhi summers. It’s just a group of us working in a regular neighborhood, doing our bit for the steel industry from a small corner of the capital. We don't worry about being polished; we just focus on finishing tasks.
