You can find us over at 15/46, A1, on the ground floor in Tilak Nagar. Skyline Home Appliances is basically a place where we deal with all the things that keep a house running, like stoves and other small machines. Being on the ground floor makes it easier for people to drop by when something breaks or when they need a part. The shop is usually a bit cluttered with boxes and spare parts because there is always something being fixed or unpacked. It’s not a big corporate store; it’s just us here trying to help people get their kitchens back in order. We spend a lot of time testing out appliances to make sure they actually work before they leave the shop. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook, and other times it’s quiet enough to actually organize the shelves. Tilak Nagar is a lively spot, and we feel like a regular part of the street now. We don’t go in for big speeches or fancy advertising. If a machine works, it works. We tell people the truth about how long a repair might take or if it’s even worth fixing at all. It’s a lot of hands-on work, getting a bit of grease on our shirts, and making sure we don’t lose any small screws. We just show up every morning, open the shutters, and see what the day brings.
