Oussome

Oussome is based out of Rajouri Garden at F-159. Being in Rajouri Garden means we are surrounded by a lot of energy and people constantly moving about. Our building is tucked away in a spot that’s easy to find once you know the area. Inside, it’s mostly just us handling inventory and making sure everything is where it should be. We don’t have a big corporate lobby or anything like that. It’s more of a functional space where we pack things and manage our daily tasks. Most of us arrive around ten, and the first thing we do is check the messages and see what needs to be sent out. The rooms are often filled with boxes, and there’s always tape clicking as we seal things up. We have a small area where we sit and eat lunch together, usually talking about the traffic or what’s happening in the market nearby. It’s a very casual environment; we don’t wear suits or follow strict protocols. We just want to make sure the work gets finished. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time getting into the street, so we have to go out and help them navigate. It’s just the way things are in this part of Delhi. We like being here because it’s central, even if it gets a bit loud outside during peak shopping hours. It’s a straightforward business and we keep things simple and real.
