Rama Road is usually pretty dusty, and our spot at 53-B/6 is right in the middle of all that activity. We’ve been operating out of this space for a good while. It’s an industrial kind of area, so there’s always the sound of trucks reversing or people unloading crates nearby. The office itself is functional. We have some heavy desks that have seen better days and a couple of chairs that squeak when you sit down. It isn't the quietest place to work, but it suits what we do. We mostly deal with the day-to-day tasks of running the enterprise, which involves a lot of phone calls and checking inventory lists. Sometimes the power cuts out for a bit in the afternoon, so we just sit and wait or chat until the generator kicks in. The tea guy comes by twice a day, and that’s usually the highlight of the morning. There’s a small window that looks out onto the street, but mostly we just see the tops of delivery vans. It’s a practical setup for us. We don't have a big lobby or a receptionist; you just walk in and someone will be there at a desk. It feels like a real part of the neighborhood, surrounded by other small businesses doing the same thing every day. We’ve stayed here because it works for the logistics of what we handle and everyone knows where to find us on this stretch.
