Hotremai

We are located at 33 Anandvan, in the A-6 block of Paschim Vihar. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it doesn't feel like a cold business district. We run Hotremai from here, and the space is always full of activity. Most of the time, we are coordinating things over the phone or through emails. Our desks are squeezed in among shelves and filing cabinets. Paschim Vihar has its own rhythm, and we are right in the middle of it. You can hear the neighbors and the local street sounds while we work. It’s a very grounded way to run a business. We don’t have fancy boardrooms or glass walls. It’s just a house that we’ve turned into our workspace. We deal with various items, mostly related to the hospitality trade, so there are often samples of things sitting on the tables. We keep track of everything in our ledgers. The tea guy comes by twice a day, and that’s when we usually take a short break to talk about things other than work. It gets busy during certain seasons, and the rooms feel even smaller then with all the extra paperwork and boxes. We try to stay organized, but it’s a lived-in kind of office. We know our way around the piles of stuff. It’s just how we operate, keeping things simple and staying close to home in Delhi. We don't need much else.
