Harpreet Soap Industries

We are over in G-Block at Hari Nagar, specifically at Shop No. 36/11, Wz-294. This place has been our base for Harpreet Soap Industries for quite a long time. The smell is the first thing you notice when you get close. It is a mix of different oils and scents we use for the soaps. It is a busy little shop. We do everything from the boiling to the cutting and the wrapping right here. It gets a bit cramped when we have a big batch of raw materials delivered. The street outside is always full of people and rickshaws, so getting things in and out is always a bit of a struggle. We are a local business, mostly family and a couple of helpers from the neighborhood. We do not use any big fancy machines, just some basic stuff that has worked for years. Sometimes the batches don't set as fast as we want if the weather is too humid. We just have to be patient. We sell to a lot of the local shops around here and some people come by the door too. It is a simple life, making something that everyone uses every day. We don't have a website or anything like that. We just focus on the soap and making sure the shop stays open. It is a bit messy with the soap shavings on the floor, but we like the work and the people.
