Gupta Metal Company

Over in Mayapuri Industrial Area Phase II, specifically at D 36, you will find us at Gupta Metal Company. Mayapuri is known for being a bit of a rough-and-ready place with lots of scrap and metalwork going on everywhere. Our workshop is a big open space with a concrete floor that has seen better days. We deal with different types of metals, and there is always a lot of sorting to do. The sound of metal hitting metal is the background music of our lives here. We do not have fancy furniture, just some old benches and a table for the paperwork. The air often smells like iron and oil. In the winter, the metal gets freezing cold, making it hard to handle, and in the summer, the whole place turns into an oven. But we are used to it. We have a small crew and we all know what needs to be done. Most of the time is spent loading and unloading trucks that pull up right to the door. We do not spend money on advertising; people just know we are at D 36 Phase II. We take our tea in glass tumblers from the shop next door. It is a simple, hard-working environment. We do not try to be anything we are not. We just show up every day, get the metal sorted, and move it out to whoever needs it for their own factory.
