G.S Welding Work

The shop is located at number 28-A in Sewak Park, right in the Dwarka Mor area of Uttam Nagar. We are very close to the Dwarka Mor metro station, so you can hear the trains passing by quite often. It is a typical welding workshop. There is no showroom or fancy display. Instead, you will see piles of iron rods, some old welding machines, and sparks flying when we are in the middle of a job. We mostly make things like window grills, iron gates, and small frames for people in the neighborhood. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings and it is quite loud when the grinders are running. We have a few guys who have been with us for years and they know exactly what they are doing. It is hot work, especially during the Delhi summers when the heat from the torches makes the shop feel like an oven. We do not do any advertising; people just walk in from the street because they need something fixed or built for their house. The shop stays open late sometimes if we have a big order to finish. It is a bit messy and there is grease on almost everything, but that is just how a welding shop is. We just focus on getting the welds strong and the measurements right. It is a simple, honest way to make a living.
