Ecospice

Ecospice is a small operation run out of Cb-55-C in Hari Nagar. It’s a residential area, so it’s a bit quieter than the big industrial hubs, but still busy enough. We don't have a big storefront or anything like that. It’s more of a home-based office where we manage our spice business. The smell of different powders and seeds is always in the air here, which is something you just get used to after a day. We spend a lot of time weighing things out and packing them into small bags. It’s mostly hand-work. We don't have big automated lines. My cousin helps out with the deliveries, and we use a small van to get things to the local shops. Sometimes the neighbors complain if there’s too much noise during the packing, so we try to keep it down in the early mornings. We don't have a marketing department or anything fancy. We just write down our orders in a notebook and try to remember who needs what by Tuesday. It’s a very local way of doing things. Hari Nagar is a nice place to work because you can walk to the market if you need something. We don't have a big sign, just a small one by the door so people don't miss the house number. It’s just a few of us trying to make a living by selling good stuff to people we know. We close up early on Sundays to rest.
