Atlantic Prints

We've been at Plot No.42 for a good while now, specifically in Shed No.27. It's not a fancy place, mostly just rows of machines and a lot of paper stacked up against the walls. If you walk in, you’ll probably find a few of us with ink stains on our shirts or hands because that’s just how the day goes here. It gets a bit loud when everything is running at once, but we’re used to the noise. Atlantic Prints isn't trying to be anything it's not. We just show up every morning, get the presses started, and see what needs doing. Sometimes the humidity makes the paper curl a bit, so we have to watch out for that. It's a lot of physical work, lifting boxes and moving stuff around the shed. We drink a lot of tea while waiting for jobs to finish. The floor is concrete and has some old stains from years ago that won't ever come out. Most of our neighbors in the other sheds are doing similar trade work, so there's always someone around to borrow a tool from if we're in a pinch. We don't spend much time on decorations or making the office look pretty. It’s a workspace first and foremost. People stop by, we talk about what they need, and then we get back to the machines. It’s a simple life, really. Just keeping the ink flowing and making sure the machines don't act up too much on the hot days.
