Shiva Carpenter Works

I started Shiva Carpenter Works at my house, H. No -2-4, in Nandigama. We are located in the Nallabelly area of Warangal. I have been working with wood since I was a teenager. My father taught me how to use the saw and the plane. Now I have my own little shed behind the house where I do all the cutting and sanding. There is always sawdust on the floor and the smell of glue in the air. I make chairs, tables, and doors for the people living around here. Sometimes I go to their houses to fix cupboards or put in new shelves for their kitchens. It’s a one-man show mostly, though sometimes my brother helps me with the heavy lifting when we have a big project. Warangal is a place where people still appreciate handmade things. I don't use big factory machines. I use my hands and some basic power tools I bought over the years. Nandigama is a quiet village and I like working here where it’s peaceful. If you need any woodwork done you just have to come to house number 2-4 and ask for Shiva. I don't have a website or a brochure. My work is what people see in their neighbors' houses and then they come to me to ask for the same thing. It is a slow way to build a business but it works for me. I just want to do a good job.
