About Om Sai Welding Shope & Works – Metals & Minerals in Warangal
Our shop is at H. No -5-6-35/1 in Kammari Wada. It is a small place, mostly open to the street so people can see us working from their cars or as they walk past. Welding is what we do, so there is almost always the bright flash of an arc or the smell of burning metal hanging in the air. We keep a lot of scrap metal piled up in the back because you never know when a weirdly shaped piece might come in handy for a repair job. The floor is concrete and covered in iron filings and dust. It’s a noisy environment with the grinders going and the hammers hitting anvils, but we’ve worked here so long we don’t even notice it anymore. People from the neighborhood bring us all sorts of things, from broken gate hinges to bicycle frames that need a bit of strength added back to them. We don’t use any fancy marketing tricks. We just put a sign out front and wait for the work to come. Sometimes it’s slow, and we just sit on the stools and watch the traffic in Kammari Wada. Other times, we have a line of people waiting for us to finish a quick weld so they can get back to their day. It’s a straightforward business. We use our hands, we use our tools, and we try to do right by the people who trust us with their repairs.
