The Grain Market Area is a very busy place to have a shop. We are located at H. No. 16-7-130-137, and there is always the smell of grain and the sound of trucks being loaded nearby. At Uma Maheshwari Steel Furniture, we spend our days moving heavy metal cupboards, desks, and racks. Steel is not light, so by the end of the day, our backs are usually pretty sore. We have a lot of items crammed into the space, and it can be a bit of a maze trying to get to the back of the shop. The floors are concrete and always have a few scratches from moving the furniture around. People come in looking for stuff that will last a long time, and steel is usually the best bet for that. We don't have a big sales team; it is usually just us showing people the different sizes and types of cabinets we have in stock. The Grain Market can be a bit chaotic with all the carts and laborers, so getting a delivery truck close to our door is sometimes a real challenge. We have to time things just right. It is a dusty, heavy job, but there is something satisfying about seeing a finished piece of furniture go out to a new home. We just keep doing our thing and helping the local folks get the furniture they need for their houses.
