About Prathibha Welding Works – Metals & Minerals in Warangal
Prathibha Welding Works is our little shop located at H. No; 5-318 in Peddapendyala. It’s a small place, mostly just a shed where we keep the welding machines and the masks. You can usually hear the sound of metal grinding from all the way down the road. We do a lot of repairs for the local farmers, fixing broken gates or mending plow parts that have snapped in the field. Dharmasagar is mostly farming land, so there’s always something that’s rusted through or broken under pressure. We don’t have a big fancy showroom with finished products. It’s just a workbench, some welding rods, and a lot of scrap metal piled in the corner. My hands are usually stained with soot, and the floor is always covered in tiny sparks. People just drop their broken stuff off at the house and we get to it as soon as we can. Sometimes we build small window grills or doors if someone is building a new house nearby. We don’t use any high-tech lasers or fancy equipment. It’s just old-fashioned heat, metal, and a lot of sweat. The lights in the shop flicker a bit when the arc welder kicks in, but the neighbors have gotten used to it by now. We’ve been here in Peddapendyala for a long time. We aren't trying to get famous or grow huge, just trying to keep the tools and gates in the village in one piece. It is hard work but it keeps us busy.
