Vagdevi Junior College

We've been here at Door No 8-41/1A in Kothavalasa for quite some time now. Most people around Vizianagaram know where we are. It’s a busy spot, especially in the mornings when the students start trickling in. The college isn't some massive glass building, just a practical place for teenagers to get through their intermediate years. You'll see us opening the gates early every single day. We spend most of our time dealing with textbooks and making sure everyone is actually in their classrooms. Sometimes the heat gets a bit much, but we have enough fans going to keep it okay. It’s mostly about getting through the syllabus and preparing for those big exams that everyone worries about. The staff room is usually a bit cluttered with papers and tea cups. We don’t really do fancy events, just the usual stuff you’d expect at a junior college. Parents stop by often to ask how their kids are doing, and we try to give them a straight answer without any fluff. It’s a lot of work keeping everything running, from the registers to the benches that always seem to need a bit of fixing. We’re just a local school trying to help the neighborhood kids get to the next step in their lives. It gets quiet in the evenings after everyone leaves for home, which is a nice change from the shouting and running during the breaks. We just keep doing what we do every day here in Kothavalasa.
