Pragathi Degree College

Pragathi Degree College is located at Door No 10-33 in the New Town area of Kothavalasa. We’re part of the Vizianagaram district. It’s a small-town college, so things are pretty straightforward here. We don’t have a huge staff, just a few of us making sure the classes are held and the students are learning what they need to. The building is right there in New Town, making it easy for local kids to walk over. It's not a very tall building, just a regular structure that fits into the street. We have simple classrooms with the usual wooden benches and whiteboards. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just open the windows to let the air in while we wait for it to come back. That’s just life in Kothavalasa. Most of our students are from families nearby, so everyone knows each other’s business a little bit. We don't go in for big advertisements or fancy brochures. People know us because we’ve been here, and their brothers or sisters probably came here too. It’s a honest kind of place. We focus on the degree courses and trying to get through the syllabus on time. The office is a bit cluttered with files, but we know where everything is. It’s just a normal college where local people come to get their education and move forward with their lives in the 535161 area.
