Z P H School is right here in Garudabilli, near Gotlam. We've been around for a while now, teaching the local kids from the surrounding villages. The building is what you'd expect from a village school, nothing fancy, but it gets the job done. Most mornings start with the bell ringing and students walking in from the fields or nearby houses. We have classrooms that see a lot of use every day. Teachers here live nearby or travel in, and we all know the families in the area. It’s a quiet spot, really. The lessons focus on the basics because that’s what the kids need to get ahead. Sometimes the roof needs a bit of work or the desks are old, but the kids don't seem to mind much. They play in the yard during breaks, and you can hear them from the road. We try to keep things organized, even when it gets busy. There’s always some paperwork or a meeting happening in the small office. We see a lot of faces pass through these doors over the years. Some of the former students even come back to say hello when they’re older. It’s just a normal part of life here in this corner of the district. The school yard has a few old trees where the kids sit when it gets too hot inside. Keeping the blackboards clean and the chalk stocked is a task we handle daily, even when we run low. The office is where we keep all the old records in big paper files. It’s a lot of manual work, but we’re used to it. Not much changes day to day, but we keep the gates open and the lessons going for everyone.
