Alluri Sitaramaraju Residential Public School

Our school is situated right by the Araku Railway Station in Visakhapatnam. Being Alluri Sitaramaraju Residential Public School, we have students living here as well as coming in for classes. It’s a beautiful area, but we’re mostly focused on the day-to-day work of running the place. Since we're near the station, there's always the sound of trains in the distance, which you get used to after a couple of days. The kids stay in the dorms, so we have to manage meals and sleeping arrangements along with the teaching. It’s a lot of responsibility to have students around twenty-four hours a day. The building is a bit older, and we’re always fixing something, whether it’s a leaky tap or a squeaky door. We have a decent amount of space because of the location, so the students aren't cramped up during their free time. It’s a simple life here. We follow a strict schedule because that's the only way to keep things moving with so many kids living on-site. Breakfast is early, then classes, then study time in the evenings. We don't have all the latest tech, but we have enough books and chalk to get the job done. It's just a steady, working school in the hills. We focus on the basics and making sure everyone is fed and learning.
