Kakatiya Public School

Kakatiya Public School is situated right on B C Road in Gajuwaka. It’s a busy part of Visakhapatnam, and you can always hear the traffic passing by outside our gates. We’ve been operating here for years now, mostly serving the families who live within walking distance in the 530026 area. The building itself is pretty straightforward. We have a row of classrooms and a small area where the kids gather in the morning. It gets quite humid here, especially in the afternoons, but we manage with the ceiling fans going full speed. Our staff consists of people from around the neighborhood. We spend most of our time dealing with daily school life, like checking attendance and making sure the chalkboards are clean. There isn't anything particularly fancy about how we do things. We just open the doors early and stay until the last student heads home. Parents often drop in to talk about how their kids are doing or to pay fees at the small front desk. There is a tea stall just around the corner where the teachers sometimes go during their break. We know most of the families by name because they’ve been around for a long time. The street outside is always crowded with autos and people going to work. Inside, we just try to keep things orderly so the children can focus on their books. It's a regular local school, doing what needs to be done day after day without much fuss or noise for the community.
