Varuns Me Ente Kura

Varuns Me Ente Kura is located right at the Seethammapeta junction in Visakhapatnam. If you know the area, you know we’re very close to the Ganapate temple. The street outside is always full of bikes and people walking to and from the temple. We’ve been at 50_82_1 for some time now. It’s a small operation, really. Most of our day is spent prepping vegetables and making sure the kitchen is ready before the morning rush starts. It gets very humid here in Vizag, so the fans are always running at full speed. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us and a couple of helpers from the neighborhood. Sometimes the supply truck is late or the water doesn't run right, but we figure it out. The junction can be a bit of a mess with traffic, but it brings people in who are just looking for a quick meal. We try to keep the place clean, though the dust from the road is a constant battle. We use the recipes we know and don’t try to do anything too complicated. It’s just a regular local eatery. People stop by on their way to work or after visiting the temple. We aren't trying to be the most popular place, just a reliable one where the food is hot and the seats are available. It’s hard work, but it’s what we do.
