South Indian Cook

Our little setup is over at Pedawaltair Junction in Visakhapatnam. We operate out of F6/B in the Palace Heights Apartments. It is a busy spot because the junction always has people moving around. Being in an apartment means it’s a bit more personal than a big restaurant. We focus on South Indian cooking because that is what we know how to do. The kitchen is almost always going with the smell of spices and fresh rice. We don't have a big sign out on the street or anything. Most of our neighbors know us and that is how word gets around. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded in the kitchen when we have several orders at once. We use the same ingredients we would use for our own families. The vegetables come from the local market nearby. We don't have a printed menu that stays the same forever. It depends on what is good that day. It is just a few of us working here. We handle the cooking, the packing, and the cleaning ourselves. It is a simple life but we like being around food all day. If you are near Palace Heights, you can usually find us pretty easily. It’s not a fancy place but the food is honest. We spend most of our time at the stove or making sure the supplies are stocked up.
