Eat And Meet

Our place, Eat And Meet, is tucked away in Mvp Colony in Vizag. We’re right on the main road, not far from the Vijaya Bank branch. If you live around here, you know how busy this part of town gets. We opened this spot because we wanted a place where people could just hang out without any pressure. It’s a simple room with some tables and a counter. We do all the cooking right there. The humidity in Visakhapatnam can be tough on the kitchen staff, but we’ve got some fans going to keep it tolerable. We get a lot of regulars from the colony who come in every few days. We know most of them by name now. It’s not a corporate setup with uniforms and scripts. We just talk to people like normal. Sometimes we run out of certain items if the morning market wasn't great, and we just tell people how it is. We spend a lot of time cleaning up after the lunch rush. The floor needs a lot of mopping with all the sand and dust that blows in from the road. We don't spend money on big ads or anything. People just see the sign and walk in. It’s a quiet life mostly, just keeping the stove hot and the customers fed. We’re just happy to be part of the neighborhood here in Mvp. We keep it simple.
