Swaadishtam

Our place is called Swaadishtam and we are located in Pithapuram Colony over in Maddilapalem. We are right on the Andhra Bank road, which is a pretty easy landmark for most people in Visakhapatnam. We started this because we liked the idea of having a local spot where people could get a meal without any fuss. It’s a simple building and we haven't done much to change it since we moved in. We spend our mornings getting the kitchen ready and making sure we have enough supplies for the day. There’s a lot of activity on this road with the bank nearby and people heading to work. We see a lot of students and office workers coming through our doors. It’s not a fancy restaurant with waiters in suits or anything like that. It’s just a practical place to eat. We do a lot of the cleaning and serving ourselves. Sometimes it gets a bit loud when we’re busy, but that’s just how it goes. We don't spend money on big ads or billboards. Most people find us because they live or work in the colony. We try to keep things consistent and make sure the place is decent for whoever walks in. It’s just a small local business trying to do things right in our neighborhood. We like being part of the community here and seeing familiar faces every day. It’s honest, simple work and we just take it one day at a time.
