S A U P School

S A U P School has been part of Nagaram for quite some time now. Being located in Avalavari Palem means we see the same faces every single day. The building itself is nothing out of the ordinary, just a place for the local kids to gather and get through their books. Most mornings start early with the sound of the gate opening and the shuffle of feet on the dusty path. We spend a lot of time just making sure the classrooms stay clean and that the benches aren't falling apart. It's a bit of a struggle sometimes when things break, but we manage. The staff here are mostly locals who live just a few streets away, so there is a lot of talk about neighborhood news during the lunch breaks. We have a small yard where the students play when they aren't in class. It gets noisy, but that is how a school should be. We don't have fancy equipment or a big shiny lobby. It is just a practical space where we focus on the daily routine. People know us as the school down the road. Sometimes the cows from the nearby fields wander a bit too close to the entrance, and we have to shoo them away. It's just normal life here. We keep the books in order and make sure the teachers have enough chalk. That's pretty much what goes on here. Our gates stay open until the last student leaves, then we lock up and head home ourselves.
