Being located on 1st Lane in Dwaraka Nagar means we are right in the middle of things in Vizag. It’s a busy area, so there is always some noise from the traffic outside, but inside the classrooms, it stays mostly quiet enough for the kids to study. We’ve been here for a good number of years. The building is a bit older, with those heavy wooden doors and concrete floors that stay cool even when the sun is out. We don’t have a massive playground, so the kids have to be careful when they’re playing outside so they don't hit the gates. Every morning starts with the prayer, and then it's straight into the books. Our staff mostly takes the bus or rides their scooters to work. We have a small office where we keep all the records in big steel cupboards. It’s not the kind of place you see in movies, but it works for what we need. We handle the admissions ourselves, and if a parent has a problem, they just come by and wait in the hallway until we’re free. Sometimes the bells don’t ring exactly on the minute, but we get by. We focus on the basic subjects and try to make sure the kids actually learn something before they go home. It’s just a regular school in a busy part of Visakhapatnam.
