Raju'S Caterings

You can find Raju'S Caterings over at Dr.No.8-33/62 in Gajuvaka. We’re located right near the bus stop, which is a very busy part of town. This isn't a fancy restaurant or anything like that. It's mostly where we do our prep work and keep all the big pots and pans we use for our catering jobs. The kitchen area gets really hot, especially in the middle of the day when we have several orders going at once. We spend a lot of time chopping vegetables and getting the spices ready for whatever event we’re working on. It’s hard work, and there’s always a lot of washing up to do afterwards. We don’t have a big office; we just take our calls and write down the orders on a notepad near the entrance. Sometimes the smells from our cooking drift out toward the bus stop, and people stop by to ask what’s cooking. We’ve been doing this for a long time in Gajuvaka, so a lot of families know us for their weddings or small parties. It’s not always perfect; sometimes a delivery is late or we run out of a certain ingredient and have to rush to the market. But we always manage to get the food ready in time. It’s just us and a few helpers working hard to get things done. We don't use any fancy words to describe what we do, we just cook and make sure everything is delivered.
