Pollocks School

We have been here in Dwaraka Nagar for quite a while now. If you walk past Door No 47-10-27, you’ll probably hear the bell or some kids shouting during lunch. It’s just how it is at Pollocks School. Visakhapatnam gets pretty humid, but we manage. Most days start with teachers getting their tea and checking their notes before the morning assembly. It’s a busy spot in the city. We don't have fancy office buildings surrounding us, just regular streets and shops. The classrooms are full of desks that have seen better days, but they do the job. Some of us have worked here for years and seen siblings come through one after another. It’s funny how you remember the older brother's face when the younger one walks in for the first time. We keep things pretty simple here. There isn't much flair. We focus on getting through the syllabus and making sure the kids aren't causing too much trouble in the halls. Sometimes the fans make a bit of noise, and the walls could use some fresh paint, but it is home for us during the day. Parents stop by to chat about grades or just to drop off a lunchbox they forgot. It's just a regular school day, every day. We handle the paperwork, deal with the rainy season leaks, and keep the gates open. That's about it. Nothing too complicated. Just a group of people working at a school in Vizag.
