Hebron School

Hebron School is over here in Marripalem, right at Bhaskar Gardens. We’ve been at this Door No 38-37-25/1 spot for a while now. Most mornings start pretty early when the first few staff members show up to unlock the gates and get the lights on. Visakhapatnam gets quite humid, so we try to keep the windows open for a breeze before the sun gets too high in the sky. It’s a busy little corner of the neighborhood. You see parents dropping off kids on scooters and the local shops just opening up nearby while the morning traffic starts to pick up. Inside the building, the walls have some old posters and the desks are those sturdy wooden ones that have seen a lot of use over the years. We don’t really do anything fancy here, just the daily work of keeping the classes running and making sure the registers are filled out. Sometimes the ceiling fans are a bit noisy, but you get used to that sound after ten minutes. It’s mostly just us trying to stay organized. There is usually a lot of paperwork piled on the main desk and a stack of notebooks waiting to be checked. We know most of the people living around here and they know us. It feels like a regular part of the street. Nothing too flashy from the outside, but it is where we spend all our time. When the bell rings, we just tidy up and go home.
