Dream Land School

Down in Poosapatirega, within the KGBV Schools area, you’ll find Dream Land School. We’ve been here in the Vizianagaram district for a while, and it’s a pretty straightforward setup. The surroundings are mostly rural, which gives the place a different feel than the schools in the big cities. We have a few buildings where the classes happen. They aren’t brand new, but they serve the purpose. Every morning, the kids arrive from the nearby villages, and the place gets lively fast. We don’t have a lot of fancy equipment or anything. It's mostly just desks, chairs, and teachers trying to get through the day’s lessons. Sometimes we have to deal with things like a leaky roof or a fence that needs fixing, but we just handle it when it happens. The playground is just a patch of ground where the kids run around during the break. We spend a lot of time on paperwork, too, because there’s always something to fill out for the district office. It’s a quiet life here for the most part, except when the kids are at recess. We aren't doing anything flashy. We just show up, do our jobs, and make sure the school stays open for the families who rely on us. It’s hard work sometimes, but it’s what we do. The teachers stay busy, the kids learn their math and science, and we just keep the wheels turning without much fuss.
