Down in Murali Nagar, things feel a bit different than the center of town. We are located at 39-8-18 in Sector-8, right on Sceating Park Road. It’s a specific spot that locals know well. The road gets its name from the park nearby, so there is always some kind of activity happening around us. Every morning, the school gate opens and we start the day. It’s not a quiet place once the students arrive, that’s for sure. There is a lot of shouting and running around before the first bell goes off. We have been here for some time now, and the building has become a familiar sight for anyone living in this part of Visakhapatnam. The rooms are filled with desks and chairs that have seen a lot of use. We don't really go for anything too polished or corporate. It's a simple setup where we get the job done. Sometimes the wind comes off the coast and blows through the corridors, which is nice when the sun is beating down on the roof. People in Murali Nagar are mostly hard-working families, and we see them every day when they bring their kids by. We just take it one day at a time, keeping the place clean and making sure there is enough chalk and paper for everyone. It’s a basic, honest way to run a school, and we don't try to make it seem like something it isn't. It is just life on Sceating Park Road.
